How is the cost per month calculated?
The monthly payments for one child are based on 46 weeks in a year. We take a total sum of £300 per 46 weeks, then divide this into 12 equal payments (£25 per calendar month). This keeps it simple, with the same payment every month regardless of whether there are 3, 4 or 5 weeks in a month.
Are you open during school holidays?
We are open during half terms and for the majority of August. August works a little differently
though with August Workshops.
We are closed for two weeks at Christmas, two weeks for Easter and the last two weeks of the Summer Holidays (these weeks are not included in the total cost for the year).
What are the August Workshops?
Over August we run some Summer Workshops instead of the usual weekly sessions due to how busy everyone tends to be. These workshops are two hours long instead of the usual one hour (£12.50 per session). To keep in line with the above calculation we prioritise and give first choice to our families who join us weekly.
After our weekly clients have chosen the remaining sessions are open to families outside of Art Club.
Are there any discounts available?
We have a sibling discount available which works even if your children are in separate groups (one in the younger group and one in the older group for example). This works out at £40 per month for two children.
We also have an affiliate discount available with Maestros & Masters Academ. Current students of M&M Academy receive a £5 discount for Primrose Art Club (available for both our weekly sessions and August Workshops). Likewise current students of Primrose Art Club receive a £5 discount when they join M&M Academy.
Can I stay with/drop off my child?
With our 4-9 year old group we leave this up to parents/guardians as some children in this age group feel more comfortable with a familiar person present.
With our 10-15 year old group it is ideally a drop off as this encourages them to socialise with each other. If your child is anxious and wants your support we are happy to accommodate you joining them for the first two months whilst they settle in.
Do you provide activities for Birthday Parties?
This is something we are looking into doing in the future. If you are interested in please feel free to enquire. We do not have our own venue so we would need to join you at your own venue or home. As with our regular sessions we will provide aprons, art materials and table cloths.
