We have been very busy today! The first thing we did was test out our printing pads we made last week. We put paint on the pads and then placed them on paper, next we pushed down on them for a few seconds before lifting them up and seeing the result! One of the children used both their printing pads in order to make a print with lots of layers.
After we finished testing our printing pads we made some placemats by doing some vegetable printing on paper and then laminating them (after drying the paint). Everyone had the most fun with the sweetcorn, especially using it to mix colours!
Next week we are going to draw and use different materials to make a garden collage!
