This week we have been exploring the idea of warm and cold colours by making silhouette paintings of animals. We used warm colours to make backgrounds for the animals from hot climates and we used cold colours to make backgrounds for the animals from cold climates.
Next week we will be exploring monochrome colour schemes with abstract paintings or drawings of feathers (the children will have the choice of paint or pencil crayons).
