Continuing on with the Harry Potter theme our Friday group pretended to be magizoologists discovering new magical creatures within the world of Harry Potter. We ended up with a mixture of horror inspired creatures, a medusa, an Egyptian art styled bird/human hybrid, an octofly and a chimera with a lions head, goose wings and orangutan body. The children used pencil to sketch their creations, watercolour paint to add colour to them and drawing pens to add detail and strengthen outlines.
Next week we will be continuing with creating magical creatures and will create some to go on the display outside the classroom.
