This week the Toddler group had lots of fun trying out foam marble painting with water colour paint. The children enjoyed spreading the foam in their tray, using a pipette to add colour and stirring everything together with a chop stick and then making a print on the paper. Unfortunately the foam print did not work very well with water colour paint but we ended up having lots of fun exploring mark making with water colours. We tried tapping the brush with another to make splatter drops and using different brushes to make different lines! Time went super fast and everyone had so much fun testing out the different tools and colours.
Next week we are going to try out splat painting!
