During our first summer holidays extra session the children had a go at creating animals using beads and buttons! We used pipe cleaners as the material they threaded beads onto so that they could bend the pipe cleaners into the shapes they needed. There was also some googly eyes available which ended up making the creatures look incredibly cute. Everyone seemed to love making butterflies, spiders, snakes and caterpillars! We had a few other creatures such as a dog, duck (made with cord instead of pipe cleaners) and snail.
