This week the toddler group are going to explore press painting. Instead of just the usual butterflies used in early press painting exploration we decided to also have some ladybirds and houses available for the children to choose from.
We tried out using paint brushes and squeezing the paint from the bottle directly onto the paper. The children’s favourite part was squishing the paper together and then pulling it apart, especially when we squeezed the paint directly from the bottle as they could see the paint move as they squished it.
Primrose Art Club will now be closed for two weeks for the summer holidays, se everyone in September.
