This weeks extra summer session was focused on exploring what we can create via clay modelling. During the first half of the session everyone created their very own mosaic coaster using beads and clay, while in the second half the children had the opportunity to create whatever they wanted.
We have ended up with some vibrant coasters and fantastically creative clay creations including: clay animal ornaments (including a bear based this penny bear), a trophy, letter ‘M’, mermaid, ornaments which can be threaded with string and hung up once dry, flowers, Luna Lovegood’s glasses, a vase and Steve from Minecraft.
